President Biden pushes offshore wind as green energy alternative

In an effort to catch up with Europe, where offshore wind has been a strong industry for decades, the U.S. is now hoping to expand its offshore wind turbine footprint and power 10 million homes by 2030.

Through investment in U.S. offshore wind, Strum’s Chief Operating Officer Teaera Strum describes how the company was able to grow its physical space from 3,500 square feet to 20,000 square feet and expand its fabrication and manufacturing services. Teaera says it best, “The investment in offshore wind is paying off.”

Purple Line Groundbreaking
