Mr. Strum is a certified welder with 40 years of technical experiences achieved as a journeyman welder and graduate of the union sheet metal training program. Mr. Strum established his credentials as both a traditional and “high-risk” expert in the fields of welding, sheet metal and fabrication by successfully taking on roles as a deep-sea diver/ welder working in the Gulf of Mexico. Repairing (welding) 600-foot water towers and participating in the construction of bridges and tunnels. He brings his knowledge, skills and abilities to the 21st Century agenda to improve America’s infrastructure. Mr. Strum has also worked as a subcontractor on U.S. HUD funded contracts for disaster recovery following Hurricanes’ Katrina, Ike, Rita and Gustav.
Strum Contracting’s management advisory team includes engineers, urban planner and senior project and contracting managers with a combined public contracting history of 75+ years.
